JOB TITLE: HR Coordinator
EMPLOYER: Jumeirah Bilgah Beach Hotel

Purpose:

Responsible for the coordination and administration of the hotel’s recruitment & relocation and work permit/residency card processes. Provides generalist HR support for colleagues and managers across the SBU.

Communication:

Internal

·          Management team and all colleagues within the hotel

·          HR teams in other SBUs/SSUs

·          Payroll

·          Human Resources Administration

External

·          Candidates

·          Recruitment agencies

·          Relocation companies

·          Suppliers

·          State agencies such as SMS etc

Main Duties:

1.     Ensure timely and effective coordination of the hotel’s recruitment process from candidate application to on-boarding and arrival.

2.     Record, track and distribute all internal and external employment applications.

3.     Conduct reference checks for successful candidates.

4.     Preparation of contracts and status change letters for successful candidates.

5.     Coordinate colleague medical examination appointments.

6.     Administration of visa /work permit and residency card applications for expatriates. Setting the respective database and tracking system in place.

7.     Coordination of flights and cargo shipments for expatriate colleagues.

8.     Assistance in accommodation related matters

9.     Ensure regular and open communication is maintained with dept heads and candidates to ensure all stakeholders are updated on application and onboarding status at all times.

10.  Conduct HR induction with new arrivals

11.  Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management team.

Tasks:

1.        Manage and update the department’s purchase requests and invoices

2.       Departmental Trainer

3.        Update designated colleague notice-boards as appropriate.

Role Specifications

Specify whether ‘essential’ and ‘desirable’ requirements

Qualifications

Essential:

·         Diploma in Hotel Management, Human Resources Management (HRM) (or similar discipline).

Desirable:

·         Bachelors degree in HRM (or similar discipline).

Experience

Essential:

·         One year in similar role

·         Working with multi-cultural teams.

Skills

Essential:


·         High level of written and verbal business English and Azeri

·         Organised and timely

·         Competent in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

·         Positive attitude and self-motivator
