Groupmotors Ltd, an official distributor of Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Subaru brands in Azerbaijan  is looking for candidates to fill the position of Internal Auditor.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

• Performing risk assessment of business processes in the company and preparation of risk-based annual audit plan

• Execution of internal audit engagements based on approved audit plan and reporting key findings to finance manager and management board

• Examination of supporting documents for compliance with established rules and requirements

• Evaluation of key audit findings and making recommendations on elimination of associated financial and operational risks

• Regular monitoring of internal control systems and suggesting automatic/manual controls for mitigation of significant risks

• Monitoring of management’s response and implementation of recommendations.

• Analysis of company’s monthly financial statements and seeking explanations for significant variances from budgeted figures

• Review of and reporting on the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of the financial and other information provided for management

• Inspection of accounting and other systems employed by the company for effectiveness and reliance and making recommendations on improvements.

 

Required skills/experience:

 

• Hold a university degree in finance and/or audit

• 2+ years of experience in internal and/or external audit

• Knowledge of accounting and finance

• Fluent in Azerbaijani, proficient in English – written and spoken  

• Strong knowledge of MS Excel

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• A knowledge of audit procedures, including planning, techniques, test and sampling methods involved in conducting audits

• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to mid-level and senior management
