Higher Education

5 years experience in this area

CS core network experience

CS core network operation & maintenance experience

SS7 protocol understanding

Cisco certified

GSM/UMTS architecture understanding

Hardworking, teamwork, punctual, initiative, productiveness

Fluent Azerbaijani,  upper intermediate English and Russian

Excellent MS Office skills

Ability to work overtime works, night works, 

To be ready 24/7 for remote or onsite availability

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

To be responsible for installation, implementation, integration, acceptance, operations and maintenance of MSS/MGW/HLR/MNP/EIR/HSS/SADM/NPS/SBC/TP5K/other assigned platform

To be responsible for restoring responsible  platforms from fresh Back Up anytime

To contribute to acceptance of new installed nodes, equipment

To be responsible for core network (MSS/MGW/HLR/MNP/EIR/HSS/SADM/NPS/SBC/TP5K/other assigned platform) uptime per node according to company defined target

Develops and evaluates responses to RFQs

To ensure compatibility of needed spare part capacity to support continues uptime and service for responsible platforms

To be 24h/7d on-call and on site available up on request

Existing systems improvement

Analyze and provide solutions to the problems encountered on the network

To be responsible for execution of approved work orders and solutions from engineering department as well as from vendor support to problems encountered on the network

To keep in close contact with Network Monitoring Center and with customer care to identify network problems in time and solution within minimum possible timeframe

To be responsible for core network (MSS/MGW/HLR/MNP/EIR/HSS/SADM/NPS/SBC/TP5K/other assigned platform) platforms failures/problems solution according to company defined target timeframe

Regular controlling of network KPI’s and to start immediate investigation for root cause and initiate action plan for improvement of worth KPI’s

Preparation of the corresponding reports regarding responsible areas

To ensure no any changes in the responsible platforms without work order

To inform all related teams and departments for any service effective problems on the network in time

To prepare and ensure existence and up to date of related network passports and diagrams

To ensure compliance of executed works to the business procedures and instructions

Ensures full backup knowledge for each task

To be flexible

Respects deadlines and organizes tasks accordingly

To share knowledge and skills with colleagues required for unit activities 

By fulfilling working duties execution of the immediate supervisor &  department manager’s verbal & written instructions as well as following the existing internal rules

Ensure password confidentiality

Maintain good relations with all teams and departments
