Baku Shipyard LLC is looking for Lawyer.

Salary is negotiable and depends on candidate’s experience.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

 Prepare and review agreements, contracts, notices and other legal documentation relating to all aspects of the business of the company;

 Attends client liaison meetings as required;

 Anticipate and guard against legal risks facing the company, develop and recommend company policy and position on both legal and business issues;

 Assists to management team in all legal contractual negotiations;

 Manages contract monitoring, contract administration and compliance;

 Responsible for providing high level, accurate legal advice in a mixed case load of local government law areas;

 Advising to management on commercial contracts and agreements, company law, government law, international law and corporate compliance;

 Represents the company in civil and administrative proceedings;

 Interpreting laws, rulings and regulations;

 Advising internal departments around legal requirements.

 

Key requirements:

 

 Qualified lawyer with a minimum 4+ experience as a corporate lawyer;

 Candidate must possess bachelor or master degree in Local or International Law;

 Knowledge of Civil, Labor, Criminal, Taxes, Insurance and Contract Law, the basic norms of International law;

 Ability to solve problems in a methodical and practical way;

 Ability to communicate persuasively and clearly, both orally and in writing;

 Ability to communicate and express information in written and oral form in Azeri and English;

 Highly skilled in negotiating and debating.
