Norm LLC is embarking on a construction of Cement Plant. The plant is located in the territory of Garadagh district, one of the most industrial important areas of the country.
The production capacity of 5 000 tons of clinker per day and 2.000.000 tons per year gives the opportunity to become the largest cement production company within the South Caucasus and Caspian Region.
We are currently seeking for Tax Specialist
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Job purpose:
Provide tax monitoring of the accounting transactions to insure proper and relevant tax accruals. Calculation of taxes, preparation and submitting of all tax reports to tax office according to local tax legislation
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Monitoring of the accounting transactions to insure proper and relevant tax accruals
• Calculation of taxes, preparation and timely submitting of all tax reports to tax regulation offices according to local tax legislation requirements
• Preparation and submission of Tax reports such as Profit tax, VAT, property tax and etc. Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all operational tax reporting
• Maintaining correspondences with the Ministry of Taxes and tax consultants on all tax matters, preparing timely responses for the requested actions
• Checking and proceeding customs declarations
• Preparation of tax payments for the cash flow report
• Reconciliation of accrued and paid tax vs statement from tax account
• Compliance with local tax legislation
• Calculation of deferred taxes
• Calculation of company payroll and accrual and payment of the related payroll taxes
• Supervising the filing and maintenance of all Tax accounting related documents and records in accordance with the document retention regulations of the Company
• Performing related tasks and duties as assigned by the Management;
REQUIREMENTS
Functional Skills:
• Advanced knowledge of Azerbaijan Tax Code and tax procedures
• Good knowledge of payment procedures / understanding purchasing process
• Knowledge of local and IFRS accounting rules;
• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting; financial reporting rules; CAPEX
Behavioral Competencies:
• Have professional level working knowledge of Azeri and English
• Must have intermediate Microsoft office skills with intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment while remaining calm and collective
• Self-motivation and organizational skills and the ability to take initiatives
• Strong accounting and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Organization skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and to work under stress
• SAP accounting software experience is highly preferred; knowledge and working experience of an enterprise accounting software will be a plus
• Ability to respond effectively to the inquires or complaints
Education & Experience
• University degree in accounting, finance or tax legislation
• At least 2-3 years of relevant working experiences in tax field
