Job Description

 

Audit - is an independent verification of the financial statements for the reliability of the information in. Audit involves certain processes and procedures designed to verify if a true and fair financial statements posted on the company, reflects the results of its 

operations. Audit also assumes a certain level of understanding of issues and analysis. We should be able to provide our customers the necessary consultation on the rules and the underlying information in the financial statements and help them understand the current requirements.

 

What is needed to join KPMG:

 

• Manage large and medium size Audit engagements 

• Executive management of clients and ensuring the highest level of client service is provided

• Planning, review and finalization of audit engagements in accordance with strict deadlines 

• Ensuring client deliverables and audit documentation is prepared to a high internationally accepted standard 

• Development and maintenance of strong professional relationships with client management 

• Mentoring and development of more junior staff

• Business development and marketing of KPMG

• Involvement in staff selection and recruitment decisions 

• Departmental administration and analysis of engagement performance 

• Full compliance with strict risk management procedures

• Deal with clients’ Financial Directors, Chief Accountants and their Deputies, previous auditors, audit network 

• Manage, develop and evaluating performance Assistants and Supervisors in Engagement teams

• Report to Managing Partner of KPMG in Azerbaijan

 

Requirements:

 

Professional knowledge and skills

 

• Qualifications ACCA, CPA, CA or other similar accounting frameworks 

• Min 5 (five) years of audit experience on medium to large clients

• Relevant exposure to the following sectors: Financial Services, Information, Communications & Entertainment, Consumer Markets, Industrial Markets, Infrastructure, Government & Healthcare, Energy & Natural Resources 

• Solid experienced in applying international accounting and auditing standards and strong technical expertise

 

Fluent English and Azerbaijani and fluent Russian is an advantage
