“FINCA Azerbaijan” is looking for Operations Manager (OM). “FINCA Azerbaijan” is a rapidly-growing microfinance institution, now providing loans to more than 150,000 clients across Azerbaijan.

Goal:
The Operations Manager is responsible to assist COO in day to day management of lending operations in F/Az. The prime focus of OM will be to lead projects and initiatives that do not direcly relate to lending activities but aim to improve operations.  The specifit job responsibilitites of OM will be as follow.

Major Activities
Responsible for leading the initiatives in the operations department related to improved customer services, product pilots, trainings, education of clients, overindebtedness surveys and so on – initiatives that do not relate to direct lending activities. OM is responsible to come up with new ideas to imrpove lending operations in all aspects of it, responsible to plan, launch, coordinate and report on different projects within the operations department.

Required Qualifications:

• Higher degree in economics and management.
• Work experience in middle and/or senior management positions in banks and/or MFIs.
• Knowledge of microfinance lending is preferred 
• Strong project management skills
• Trainer capacity. Trainer experience would be an advantage
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent report writing skills
• High presentations skills
• High organizational/planning skills
• High computer literacy
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and punctuality with deadlines
• Fluency in Azery and English. Fluent Russian will be an advantage.
