Position: Chief Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up.
 Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
 Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.


 Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
 Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.
 Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.
 Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
 Review & approve payment vouchers

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Proficient in the English and Azerbaijani languages (spoken & written), good knowledge of  Russian
 Must be flexible in terms of working hours (24-hour operation, 7 days a week)
 Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
 3 or more years prior experience in public accounting tax experience.
 Strong accounting and analytical skills.
 Strong computer skills: proficiency in 1C software, Excel, Word.
 Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
