Vision Fund AzerCredit LLC (AzerCredit) helps develop the economy of Azerbaijan by providing credit to small entrepreneurs so that they can grow their businesses and improve their economic situation. AzerCredit is one of the largest micro-credit organizations in Azerbaijan. AzerCredit is currently seeking a CREDIT SPECIALIST for its Ismayilli branch. Female candidates are encouraged to apply.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    Understanding and supporting AzerCredit philosophy and objectives;
    Doing all within his/her ability to meet targets set by supervisor and work unceasingly to enable AzerCredit to meet its goal;
    Conducting all activities in compliance with AzerCredit policies and procedures;
    Conducts or assists in conducting market research and survey activities;
    Conducts active marketing campaign to attract new clients;
    Receives loan applications and perform credit investigation on loan applicants and his/her surety/ guarantor, if any;
    If necessary, conducts inspection and/or appraisal of any property being offered as collateral;
    Prepares and presents credit applications to the branch credit committee for approval;
    Closely monitors loan payments and ensures zero tolerance against past due;

Successful candidates should meet the following criteria; qualifications, knowledge and technical skills:

    University degree in economics, accounting or business administration;
    Experience working with very small businesses;
    At least one year relevant work experience;
    Fluent in Azeri (both verbal and written). Preference may be given to English speaking candidates;
    Computer skills in Word, Excel and Data Base programs;
    Good knowledge in economic and financial topics;
    Good analytical and problem solving skills;
    Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team;
    Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of rectitude;
    Ready to comply and live up to and in accordance with the organization Ideals and Core Values;
    Excellent interpersonal skills;
    Able to work as team member and to establish friendly relationships;
