Role synopsis BP

Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey Region (AGTR) invites qualified professionals to apply to Turnaround Team Leader position.Turnaround (TAR) Team Leader is responsible for planning and execution of the TAR to meet Business Objectives and in line with the requirements of CVP-TAR.

Responsibilities are listed below.

The TAR Team Leader is a member of the Core Regional TAR Team.

Key accountabilities

1. Successful planning and execution of the TAR.
2. Ensuring facilities engineering, construction, HSSE, and operations contribute to the TAR plan.
3. Responsible for defining logistics and material coordination for TAR.
4. Delivery of progress against all preparation and milestone plans throughout all CVP-TAR stages.
5. Providing linkages to business goals for the facility and TAR budget per BP performance plan.
6. Utilising operations, engineering and construction input and resources.
7. Approving TAR scope of work.
8. Authorizing changes to scope of work.
9. Approving expenditure on contingency issues.
10. Provides link between integrated TAR team and gatekeeper.
11. Prepares DSP, presenting case for gatekeeper to make a decision about proceeding to the TAR Steering Committee for final approval.

Essential Education

University degree or equivalent experience.

Essential experience and job requirements

Experience of managing TAR or Project planning and execution within the petrochemical, oil or gas industry is essential.
Strong leadership, influencing and communication skills are required to provide the necessary direction across a disparate and diverse planning and execution team.

Desirable criteria & qualifications

Candidates will ideally be qualified in an engineering discipline, and will have worked in either operations support, site management, or project management roles.
