The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides both operational and programmatic support to the organization. The CFO supervises the finance unit and is the chief financial spokesperson for the organization. The CFO reports directly to the President of company and directly assists him on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding.

Requirements:

    Bachelor’s Degree (B.S) in accounting or related finance discipline. CPA / MBA or MS in Finance  desirable.
    Minimum of 5 years in an accounting or financial management role, preferably as CFO, Finance Director or Chief Accountant.  Management Experience is preferred.
    Experience as a Financial Controller is preferred.
    Experience with financial management to include sales tax, insurance, payroll management, sales analysis, pricing and financial statements.
    Excellent interpersonal skills.
    A hands-on attitude along with great leadership abilities.
    High energy level and have a proven ability to educate other members of management team.
    Excellent communication skills.
    Experience in strategic planning and business development Strong verbal and written communication skills

Key responsibilities:

    Develops finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
    Assist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization's mission and help execute staff succession and growth plans.
    Train the Finance Unit and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters.
    Work with the President on the strategic vision, as well as assisting in the development and negotiation of contracts.
    Assist the President in identifying new funding opportunities, the drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, and determining cost effectiveness of prospective service delivery.
    Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; developing action plans.
    Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including: organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to funding agencies, development and monitoring of organizational and contract/grant budgets.
    Oversee all payroll activity for staff and participants.
    Controlling group companies financial activities, cash flow and distributing funds throughout the departments, where they are needed.
    Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders. Manage accounting processes and ensure full compliance with the international standard.

Salary: 2000 -2500 AZN
