Job Responsibilities

    Researching attractive investment sectors, investment trends/climate in Azerbaijan;
    Identifying and screening attractive investment opportunities, conducting and participating in preparing due diligence and analysis including financial, industry, competitive, market, product, business model etc.;
    Participate in development of term sheets and deal structuring;
    Participating in final documentation and closing of the deal;
    Maintaining and developing financial models and conduct scenario analysis;
    On-going monitoring of the investments (portfolio) that he/she is responsible for;
    Analyzing financial information related to specific companies, e.g. company results, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements to determine how an organization is positioned to deliver for investors;
    Preparing monthly reports on the investments that include a full update including financial, operational, strategic, personnel and marketing issues;
    Keeping up to date with market developments, new investment products and all other areas that can affect the markets
    Participate in consulting/advisory services;
    Act as supervisory board member of portfolio companies.

Required Qualification:

    Bachelor degree in finance, accounting or economics;
    Strong financial, credit and structuring skills;
    A solid understanding of fundamental investment analysis;
    Strong analytical and quantitative skills and in-depth critical analysis
    Proficiency in financial modeling skills
    Strong presentation skills, candidate must be able to articulate ideas, issues and recommendations effectively
    Knowledge of Azerbaijani industry sectors;
    Strong business development and client relationship skills;
    Good knowledge of MS Office programs (especially Microsoft Excel;
    Written and oral fluency in Azeri and English;
    Minimum 3-4 years of experience in similar position;
    Good knowledge of international accounting principles and standards;
    Good interpersonal and communication skills.
