Role synopsis

PD&MS Energy have recently been awarded a contract by BP Exploration for the provision of Engineering Services for Platform Drilling. As a result of this we have opened a new office in Baku and will require a suitably qualified and experienced citizen of Azerbaijan to fill the role of HR Coordinator playing a key role in the team and providing a high level HR service to the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Process all current and new start paper work and follow up accordingly liaising with Corporate TA as per company policies and procedures.
• Create and maintain Service Agreements and Contracts of Employment.
• Create personnel record for new starts on personnel database/voyager.
• Correspond with new starts and provide induction paperwork.
• Update company database with relevant information including CV’s and Job Specifications as per company policies and procedures.
• Assist with Job Specifications in conjunction with our company policies and procedures.
• Provide support on all general administration duties when required.
• Ensure that the database system is continuously updated.
• Familiarisation with and full understanding of quality, safety, and management systems.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant QA Health & Safety and Environmental Policies, where applicable.
• Research, implement, monitor and review relevant company policies.
• Liaise with department heads and management regarding disciplinary and grievance issues.
• Notify relevant departments with notification of new starts.
• Notify all company personnel via the intranet of new starts.
• Arrange HR Induction & administer paperwork ensuring that it is saved onto the personnel database/voyager.
• Notify personnel of whom their department buddy/mentor is.
• Assist with coordination of interviews where required.
• Coordinate Rate increases/approvals with relevant departments and senior management.
• Performance/Supplier reviews.
• Holiday/Absence Management.
• Assist with formatting of personnel’s CV’s for tender submittals.

Essential qualifications and experience

• CIPD Qualified
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Conversant with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
