Hiring now: Country Manager, Azerbaijan

Country Manager, for a typical venture at Rocket Internet, is mainly responsible for leading a local team to sign vendors in the country and then managing the long-term relationship with these vendors.

This role interacts across multiple departments and functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Creating a sales pipeline for the country and individual team member portfolios
    Making excellent sales pitches and sales deck for the meetings
    Keep strong follow-up calls, meetings and any other CRM-related activities with vendors
    Negotiate the best contract terms in every possible way
    Post-signing activities include: featuring the vendors live on the website and carry out compliance
    Maintaining detailed knowledge of new and existing vendors and competitors
    Overview of day-to-day admin tasks, cash budgets, accounting & tax matters
    Keep strong liaison with all stakeholders of the business

Requirements for the candidate:

    Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree
    Must be fluent in spoken/written Russian, Azeri & English
    Pleasant personality with great presentation & communication skills
    Must have a proven track record in a Sales Management environment
    A go-getter mentality, who believes that winning is everything in life
