The U.S. Embassy in Baku is seeking an individual for the position of Registered Professional Nurse in the Health Unit.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION

The incumbent serves as the U.S. Embassy Baku’s primary health care provider, evaluating and assessing patients within the scope of training, expertise, and protocol established by the Regional Medical Officer (RMO). The position is part of the Management Section, working in the Embassy Health Unit under the direct supervision of the Foreign Service Health Practitioner and RMO. The incumbent provides the full range of professional nursing services to American and Locally Employed Staff including first aid and emergency treatment as necessary. The incumbent also maintains records, liaises with local health providers and government offices, and manages health, safety, and wellness programs at Post.
