Role synopsis
BP Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey Region (AGTR) invites experienced professionals to apply to Project Engineer role. As a Project Engineer you will ensure the assigned project is adequately resourced and the project follow Small Project Common Processes that meet all relevant Engineering Technical Practices and specifications. You ill also be responsible for timely delivery of safe and quality design, provide HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) leadership.

Key accountabilities
• Ensure the project design is safe and of a high quality.
• Ensure all project documents are of a high standard.
• Deliver the Statement of Requirements, contribute to Project Execution Plan and other key project management deliverables.
• Maintain a schedule that supports a high quality Front End Loading during the Capital Value Process (CVP) process.
• Deliver risk workshops, implement mitigation plans and action registers.
• Ensure a robust interface with other functions including HSE, Engineering, Quality Assurance and Control, Procurement and Construction.

Essential Education
• Diploma / Degree in an Engineering Discipline

Essential experience and job requirements
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a project engineering delivery role.
• Good written and spoken English.
Other essential skills and knowledge
Good written and spoken English. Sound understanding of inter-discipline engineering activities and planning methods. Ability to deliver projects based on guidelines and robust assurance plans. Experience working with international engineering standards
Desirable criteria & qualifications
Site construction and/or commissioning experience. Exposure to Capital Value Process (CVP) and Front End Loading (FEL)
