•World Trade Organization (WTO)/Trade Policy Specialist

o   Experience in trade policy formulation and analysis

o    Experience and knowledge of implementation and monitoring of trade policy, WTO trade and investment agreements

o    Experience with international standards and best practices, such as CODEX Alimentarius Commission, International Plant Protection Convention and International Organization for Animal Health

o    Experience with Competition legal and regulatory framework

Agribusiness Specialist

o    Experience working with agribusinesses in accessing local and foreign markets, promoting exports, and exploring foreign direct investment opportunities

o    Experience working with processors, traders, cold storage operators on improving their adherence to international standards

o    Experience working with commercial banks to increase loan portfolios targeting the agriculture sector

o    Knowledge of the latest developments in advancing good/best practices in value chain development

Agribusiness Capacity Development Specialist

o    Knowledge of the latest agronomy practices including production techniques, marketing opportunities, plant and animal varieties, and equipment

o    Experience designing and delivering capacity building initiatives and training programs

o    Knowledge of agricultural extension and training programs

Outreach and Communications Coordinator

o    Experience coordinating a broad set of stakeholders from the senior levels of government, leadership from the business community, and local community representatives

o    Experience developing and executing a communications strategy that includes local organizations, other donor-funded projects, private sector partners and USAID through various electronic mediums, live events, and by working with the media

All candidates must meet the following requirements:

•Advanced degree and at least 7 years of experience in the relevant area of expertise

•Experience working on USAID-funded programs

•Experience working in Azerbaijan or the Caucasus, and/or other Eastern Europe/Former Soviet Union countries preferred

•Demonstrated management and communication skills

•Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to manage team of long- and short-term consultants

•English fluency required

•Knowledge of Azeri, Turkish or Russian language skills preferred
