Relationships:

Reports to Area Logistics Manager and Geo-market(s) Supply chain Manager(s) and maintains a close working relationship with the following:
- Supply chain and finance functions; - Hubs; - CLCs; - TCC; - HSE

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

· Interface with internal and external customers, freight forwarders, Customs Clearing Agents, and customs Representatives
to ensure efficient, effective and repeatable service delivery
· Accountable for the implementation of the logistic organization: Transportation Management Centers (TMC) and the
Country/Regional Logistics Centers (CLC).
· Accountable for the implementation of programs resulting in continuous improvement of services levels to the field
organization.
· Builds and maintains an effective and lean logistics team both at the TMC level and at the CLC level, aiming at continuousn growth of individual and team performance through training, supporting and motivation.
· Implements objectives jointly with the Business Segments, and reports on the performance of his/her Logistics organization.
· Manages the end-to-end transport programs, including transport network, customs and regulatory compliance, supplier development and performance programs.
· Manages logistics costs and overall performance through identification of freight consolidation opportunities and root causes analysis of deviations, process improvement reviews, negotiation and administration of third party logistics contracts. Identifies and works on total cost reduction initiatives.
· Develop and implement shipping guidelines / Process flows for all shipping lanes and on all modes of transportations.
· Provides GeoMarket planning and management for all phases of international, domestic logistics and product distribution, in
order to establish and sustain efficient and cost effective global logistics solutions.
· Accountable for full customs, trade control and other transport regulatory compliance of all the logistics activities in the GeoMarket(s) covered by his/her TMC.
· Assist the Category Supply Chain Manager with negotiating contractual agreements required for third party logistics
providers and key suppliers base.

Previous Experience and Competencies:

• BA/BS/MBA Degree in Supply Chain Management, or Equivalent
• 5-7 years experience in Supply Chain Management.
