Requirements:

•     Higher education (IT/Technical)
•     Deep knowledge of Unix systems, Shell scripting, Practical experience with Server and Storage hardware systems, Excellent skills in backup processes, backup software
•     5 years’ experience in IT field, 3 years in Systems and Storage Administration
•     Experience with Virtualization technologies (Vmware);
•     Deep knowledge of Unix systems
•     Shell scripting
•     Practical experience with Server and Storage hardware systems
•     Excellent skills in backup processes, backup software (Symantec Netbackup);
•     Solid understanding of IP Networking (TCP/IP, IP addressing) and common internet services, protocols and applications such as:(DNS, SMTP, HTTP/HTTPS, LDAP);
•     English - Intermediate Level. Technical level is mandatory;
•     ITIL knowledge is plus;
•     Military service(mandatory);
•     Driving license(optional)

Required Competencies:

•     Ability to work under pressure and meets deadlines;
•     Strong written and verbal communication skills;
•     Have the ability to multitask and prioritize work appropriately;
•     Ability to work non-traditional business hours in support of IT operations;
•     24X7 on call support for mission critical systems of the IT Infrastructure
•     Willingness and ability to learn new information technologies;

Roles & Responsibilities:

•     Installation, configuration, maintenance and support of Unix like operating systems family;
•     Installing, configuring and supporting system applications
•     Installation, configuration, maintenance and support of server and storage equipments;
•     Monitoring and analyzing systems load and performance;
•     Plan and perform preventive maintenance works;
•     Ensure that the infrastructure key systems have a high availability and reliability;
•     Troubleshooting of problems on system levels including hardware and software problems;
•     Control 3rd party companies works related with IT;
•     To prevent any risk of information leakages;
•     Perform regular backup of system and configurations files
•     Participate in the development, delivery, and support of new IT infrastructure systems, tools and technologies according İT Development targets/plans;
•     Documenting infrastructure systems including hardware and software systems;
•     Perform in time notification about business affected problems on the İT system elements;
•     Report on system statuses, failures, violations, performed preventive works and actions;
•     To carry out duties according IT policy and procedures;
•     To travel to Azerfon premises in order to support İT operation;
•     To work in non-traditional business hours in support of IT operations;
•     Ensures teams 24X7 on call support for mission critical systems of the IT Infrastructure;
•     To bear material responsibility for the equipment in IT operation and warehouse;
•     React for IT policy/procedure violation
•     Hardware and Software upgrade/update and replacement
•     Configuration change
•     React for critical problems
•     Intrusion Prevention
•     Implementing new technologies
