The global oilfield provider of engineered services and products primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry declares job vacancies to the following position:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
 
• Suppliers invoices collection
• Reconciliation of back up docs of each invoice (receipts, VAT tax invoice). Should some back up documents for supply invoices be missing or amount in invoice mismatched to the current contract rate/Purchase Order, it should be discussed by vendor or clarified with Company Representative/Chief Accountant. If that is not sufficient to accept/payment of the vendor invoice then invoice should be returned to the vendor with supporting explanation letter
• Coding of all vendor’s invoices in respect of Oceaneering Chart of Accounts and current project codes
• Getting an approval from Management on each vendor invoice prior scanning to People Soft (Image Now)
• Registration of all vendor invoices to Supply Log
• Preparation of Fund Request spreadsheet for Dubai finance department. Fund Request includes list all unpaid invoice on the current date. Fund request should be sent to relevant Project Manager/In Country Manager for approval of prior funds transfer from Finance department in Dubai
• Scanning all suppliers invoices (coded and approved) and back up docs for People Soft (by Image now software)
• Preparation of payment orders, getting an approval of Chief Company Representative and Chief Accountant. Submission approved payment orders to bank
• Submitting official documents to Bank, Tax Authorities, Social Fund
• Preparation of bank statement, reconciliation the payment  and sending that to Dubai Finance department by the 5th of each month
• Keeping accounting filing in order, archive the files in proper manner
• Fulfilment of other duties initiated by Chief Accountant

 Safety

Other

•  Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
•  Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management
•  Systems on the Company.
•  Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly

QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING:

• Higher Education degree required: Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• Knowledge and Proficiency of Finance /Accounting Principles

EXPERIENCE:

WORK:
Minimum 2 years experience in financial environment.  (E)
Proficiency in English and Azeri
