Financial Reporting Senior Accountant

1. Key Goal
To maintain General Ledger module in Oracle and ensure timely closing of GAAP GL To identify and post Monthly Accruals into General Ledger To prepare Monthly Budget vs Actual reports To prepare Monthly Reporting Package To support external audit process
2. Responsibilities
2.1 Managerial
• Create and manage effective communication with other units/departments
2.2 Operational
• Timely closing of GL module
• Timely and accurate provision of monthly accruals and closing entries - cut-off reporting
• Preparation of monthly reporting package (PL, Balance sheet etc)
• Calculation of financial and operational ratios on a monthly basis
• Assistance in elaboration of new reports based on management request
• Reconciliation of GAAP and Statutory GLs
• Other tasks upon management requests
2.3 Behavioural

• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to work under pressure
3. Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills
3.1 Diploma
• Higher education in Accounting/Finance, ACCA/CIMA/CPA certificate is an advantage
3.2 Experience
At least 3 years of experience in accounting related field
3.3 Skills
• Excellent MS Office (especially Excel) and Microsoft applications skills, analytical skills, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
