 What will I be doing?

 

 Ensure the accuracy of all charges and credits to the various accounts and that they are properly entered on a timely basis

 

All accounts receivable charges from previous day, received from the Night Auditor have to be: checked that all supporting documents are attached, folios and gust checks signed by the guests, charges are in line with contractual agreements, posted into CL module of Oracle, that the total of the day balances with General Ledger

Accounts and statements have to be rendered on a timely basis (best case = daily)

Compute accurately all travel agents’ commissions cost payable; deduct from invoice or pay only to authorized travel agents

Ensure that necessary information in regard to overdue accounts is supplied to the proper person for follow up, inform the Finance Director

Control, by recording, posting and balancing, all advance deposits

Queries and account disputes have to be clarified with the proper person or Finance Director and respond immediately

Balance all subsidiary accounts receivable ledgers on the ageing report to the appropriate general ledger accounts

Remainders and letters have to be sent to overdue accounts

To collect outstanding amounts is a high priority to ensure a positive cash flow for the hotel

Balance the accounts, with the general ledger accounts

 

  What are we looking for?

 

Minimum of Bachelor degree

 

At least  3 years of experience in Finance

Strong process and planning mindset

Organized and focused on delivery to deadlines

Structured and process driven approach to work

Proficiency, at an intermediate level, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint

Proficient  Azeri and English 

Good spreadsheet and written skills
