Position Summary:

ADA University is seeking Research Editor to join Caspian Center for Energy and Environment  to take a leading role in the development and implementation of research programs.

Responsibilities:

    Coordinate the research pillar of CCEE;
    Write energy and environment related papers, including weekly editorials;
    Establish and liaise with CCEE network of experts, identify relevant issues, provide for the sustainable supply of policy and research papers;
    Organize the publication of a quarterly periodical on Caspian Energy and Environment in the current year;
    Manage fund-raising for energy and environment research;
    Delegate activities and provide guidance to junior staff at CCEE;
    Demonstrate solid research and English-language expertise, and the knowledge of energy and environment industry of the wider Caspian region;
    Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

    University degree is required;
    3-5 years professional publishing or business information experience, preferably with a basis in independent research and analysis;
    Excellent writing skills, including the ability to summarize complex information clearly;
    Excellent knowledge of  English and Azeri languages;
    Excellent organization and communication skills;
    Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels and in a team;
    Ability to work well under pressure.
