Currently “FINCA Azerbaijan” is currently seeking a SENIOR LEGAL OFFICER for its Head Office.

 

GOAL:

 

To prepare loan and guarantor agreements relating to the activities of the organization, to give direct visas to agreements having made legal expertise over them or to participate in the preparation of suggestions relating to references;

To participate in the investigation of existing legal problems at site and in the process of giving instructions to employees through rendering legal assistance to all the branches of the organization;

To ensure the management of legal risks in the overall activity of the organization;

To defend the interests of the organization in judicial, administrative or investigative bodies, in other government departments, enterprises and organizations, as well as in the law-enforcement bodies;

To carry out necessary activities relating to the establishment of branches and representative offices of the organization, as well as their state registration;

To prepare letters to the relevant municipalities, executive and other state bodies on behalf of the organization;

To perform other duties assigned by the Manager of the Legal Department;

To conduct trainings on management of agreements or on other legal matters for the personnel functioning in the relevant areas of the organization, if necessary;

To control the overall activities of the lawyers providing legal support to the Organization’s branches.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

 

Bachelor degree in Law (master degree is preferred);

Minimum 5 years of legal experience;

Communication, negotiation and leadership skills, ability to work in hard working conditions (the presence of management experience is desirable);

Speaking and writing fluency in Azeri, at least mid-level English language skills (knowledge of Russian is preferred);
