Vision Fund AzerCredit LLC (AzerCredit), which is one of the largest micro-credit organizations in Azerbaijan, helps develop the economy of the country by providing credit to small entrepreneurs so that they can grow their businesses and improve their economic situation. The position will be based in Neftchala branch of AzerCredit LLC with the objective to effectively manage Branch operations.
 
Objective:
 
Ensure efficient financial and integration operations of the branch;
Exchange information with management and other branches, and provide the branch with relevant information;
Realize products and services of AzerCredit in the market.
Key duties and responsibilities:
 
Management:
 
Relevant proposals and decision making on staff management;
Manage and supervise operation of branch’s loan portfolio;
Establish priorities and objectives for the branch;
Maintain quality of branch portfolio and customer base at highest possible level;
Manage challenging and problematic issues;
Solve problems, mitigate risks, search for their solutions and follow up;
Coordinate with Head Office and other branches on issues related to branch operations which might impact overall objectives and targets;
Ensure submission of relevant reports accurately and in a timely manner;
Encourage and inspire the staff to effective and outstanding performance to achieve branch targets and objectives;
Manage branch’s overall workday;
Participate in recruitment and annual performance evaluation of permanent staff;
Request relevant reports from subordinate staff;
Analyze standing of the managed branch, draft reports and proposals;
Serve as personal example for staff and encourage them to provide outstanding customer service;
Research market activities of other credit organizations in their area to improve organization’s service level and competitiveness;
Closely support Regional Manager in various administrative activities.
Finance
 
Draft and plan effective budget for the branch;
Participate in support of target setting and financial benchmarking for VF AzerCredit;
Verify and approve input information in the information data system based on customer application;
Verify and approve daily financial operations in the information data system;
Supervision
 
Arrange, chair and supervise credit committees;
Monitor the entire lending process and identified procedures;
Plan and monitor customer’s information table and monitoring visits for outstanding loans;
Ensure compliance of collateral operations with relevant procedures;
Supervise lending staff, diversification of loans and provide relevant instructions, monitor distribution;
Other:
 
Arrange site visits as necessary in relation with loans;
Actively support motivation strategy and marketing plan development in the head office;
Participate in receipt of gold, verify receipt and return acts of gold with signature and seal on behalf of the company;
Monitor divisions when necessary;
Participate in official processes and events when necessary;
Comply with code of ethics, demonstrate honesty, dignity, transparency and confidentiality in behavior at all times;
Maintain positive relations with all personnel, customers and other stakeholders of VF AzerCredit;
Ensure achievement of targets in line with organization’s Strategic Plan.
Required qualifications, experience and knowledge:
 
Degree in economics or management
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in business, management, economics
Relevant skills and practical knowledge of staff management
Proper assessment of situation and decision making skills
Communication, listening and observation skills, knowledge of human psychology
Basic knowledge of English
Computer skills: Outlook, MS Word and Excel
Driving license
