Role synopsis BP

Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey Region (AGTR) invites highly experienced professionals to apply to Head of Finance Midstream role. As part of the AGT Region Finance Leadership Team, the Head of Finance Midstream manages the Financial Risks & Performance in Midstream Operations, ensures the contractual framework for BTC, SCP and Sangachal Terminal and performs the role of CFO for BTC Co and SCP Board Member.

Key accountabilities

As Head of Finance, your main responsibilities will include to:

• Support Head of Control (HOC) in monitoring control environment for risks and deficiencies and address. Support/Participate in Regional Due Diligence process

• Ensure compliance with Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Lender requirements

• Manage in-year cost & performance metrics

• Ensure appropriate Planning and Performance Management (PPM) tools are in place across Midstream

• Manage Midstream Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Enterprise Risk management. Identify and mitigate financial & business risks

• Manage Hydrocarbon Value Realisation (HVR) Risk Management Process

• Voting member of AGT Region Operations Contracts Committee

• Shape Long Term Plan to support a Long Term sustainable business

• Shape BTC 3rd party strategy

• Act as senior finance officer in BTC & Board Member of South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP)

• Ensure timely approval of BTC/SCP and Sangachal Terminal Annual Work Program and Budget (AWP&B) process

• Ensure contractual compliance across BTC/SCP and Sangachal Terminal

• Assure HVR compliance

• Manage, coach and develop team members (team of 34 people across 3 countries: Az-Geo-Turkey)

Essential Education

- Degree in Finance/Business Administration or

- Degree in Engineering with MBA

Essential experience and job requirements

- 15 years relevant rounded Finance experience with strong Performance Management and Commercial Operations skills. The role requires in depth understanding of economic evaluations, commercial optimization

Other Requirements (eg Travel, Location)

- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships in resolving issues;

- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead a team through demanding and competing set of priorities

- Ability to influence decisions outside his/her direct line

Desirable criteria & qualifications

- Demonstrated effective leadership skills

- In-depth understanding of commercial contractual relationships and JV management activities

- Proven track record leading commercial negotiations

- Demonstrated analytical and performance management skills

- Excellent communication skills
