    Project Implementation Unit of the Ministry of Health Vacancy Announcement The Project Implementation Unit of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan Republic and the Global Fund to Fight HİV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria is looking for Finance Officer for vacant position in Tuberculosis Project.

    - In accordance with The Global Fund and standard accounting procedures, establish the financial accounting systems for the project within the PIU
    - Maintain a strict financial accounting of all local costs associated with the project
    - Prepare all reports required by the Project Director and The Global Fund
    - Prepare all financial monthly, quarterly and annual reports required by the Program Coordinator, Project Director and The Global Fund and ensure its conformity with the requirements of the Government of the Azerbaijan Republic, The Global Fund
    - Prepare quarterly and annual budgets of the project
    - Facilitate and respond to financial audits
    - Signatory on all bank accounts and payments made by the PIU
    - Maintain inventories of all furniture and equipment purchased by the PIU
    - Establishment of administrative and accounting procedures for PIU expenditures
    - Establish and maintain the financial accounting system for the project within the PIU
    - Make all the calculations: remunerations of project personnel, foreign and local consultants, including all settlements for business travel, training, workshops, and other kinds of payments
    - Make bookkeeping entries, review the payments and the balances between accounting books and registers to ensure consistencies with the agreed project budget and proposed expenditures
    - Maintain contacts with local banks' officials and financial institutions and the Ministry of Finance including the Treasury in order to track changes in foreign exchange rates, interest rates, accounting procedures and regulations and other financial aspects in Azerbaijan that have impact on the project

    - Review the disbursement requests and withdrawal applications under sub-recipients contracts in consultation with the Program Coordinator and officials of the Ministry of Health
    - Carry out trainings in place for the Director and Procurement Officer on use of the financial software
    - Other responsibilities as assigned by the Project Director
    - Full time working schedule: Monday-Friday, 09.00-18.00
Namizədə tələblər

    Required qualifications:
    - Higher education diploma in finance, economics, trade, management and related areas
    - At least five years experience in the area of financial management
    - Previous work with international organizations is an asset
    - Fluency in English and Azerbaijani
    - Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point) and accounting programs (1C)
