Role synopsis

BP Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey region (AGTR) invites senior professionals to apply to the Lead Business Advisor position within Finance Business Development Team. As Lead Business Advisor, you will lead the Performance Management Process for one of the biggest oil fields in the Caspian - Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) with focus on technical and financial delivery. This encompasses setting and agreeing Key Performance Indicators (KPI), milestones, performance metrics with internal and external stakeholders, regular check-in process and initiation of rectification and mitigation actions as necessary. It is expected that incumbent can independently set up and drive the process, and seek guidance as necessary.

Key accountabilities

As Lead Business Advisor, your main responsibilities will be to:

• Lead and oversee ACG Performance Management process with primary focus on external stakeholders (SOCAR, SOFAZ, partners);
• Lead Annual Performance report process, recommend and agree KPI’s, performance metrics, delivery priorities, milestones with internal stakeholders;
• Proactively monitor performance, and as appropriate, engage with relevant internal stakeholders to assure rectification/mitigation measures;
• Ensure ACG Performance earns due visibility in relevant delivery teams (both technical and finance), maintain a network of contacts to support integrated performance management process and ensure timely execution
• Lead analytical work in support of Performance Management process

Essential Education

- University Degree in Finance/Economics/Business/Accounting

Essential experience and job requirements

- Minimum 7 years of industry experience, preferably in planning, performance management or commercial operations

Desirable criteria & qualifications

- Professional Qualification is a plus (CIMA, ACCA, etc)
- Experience in Oil and gas industry is a plus
